married Anne MacIntosh 16 June 1816

 John James Fraser McBain married Christina Nicol on December 12 1895 in Rosemarkie Church,
Ross & Cromarty
John was a journeyman  blacksmith to the McAndrew family in Foddarty, R&C and started his own business at  King Street, Inverness circa 1895.

John's fatherAngus McBean & his wife Catherine McKay were
crofters at "Crofthouse" Tore and family descendants still farm there today.

Angus father, Francis was a crofter at Dunmaglass, Inverness, however little is known of any history.

Obit for John Angus, son of the above JOhn James Fraser McBain, from The Press & Journal "Died at the Northern Infirmary Inverness on the 16th inst., John Angus, Jack, aged 17 yrs, dearly beloved eldest son of John McBain , Blacksmith. Funeral from 11 Duncraig St tomorrow (Wednesday) at the New Cemetery. All friends invited"

Will of John James Fraser  McBain  dated 06 May 1903
Blacksmith sometime of 1 Kenneth Street Inverness, bequeathed his estate to his wife Christina Nicol an estate valued at 2238 14s 10d

Will of the late Christina McBain dated 12 May 1953
Bequeathed an estate valued at 3313 2s to her daughter Catherine.
