The manuscript, dated 1985, is found in the special collections at Rutgers University. Alfred Brower claims that William W. Brower is a son of William Brower and his wife Mary (___), who in turn is a son of William (Bogardus) Brower and Maria Helm. No proof is offered in the manuscript. The early generations of Brouwer families in the manuscript is taken directly, often word for word, from William J. Hoffman's "Brouwer Beginnings." Alfred Brower also claims a parentage for Adam Brouwer, with out offering any proof, that is completely incorrect.
