  • Martha Oldfield was born circa 1698 at Jamaica, Queens Co., Long Island, New York.2
  • She married John Drake, son of Josias Janszen Drats and Aeltje Adamse Brouwer, bef 1721 if the assumption that Martha is the mother of all of John Drake's children is correct. They were certainly married prior to 14 May 1741, in which case Martha may be a second wife of John Drake, and mother to only some, or none, of his children.3
