The divorce decree states that Frank and Annie Dunbar had been married on 31 Mar 1881 in St. Lawrence Co., New York; had lived together in the state of New York up until 30 Jul 1897; and that they had no children. The order further gives Frank Dunbar the legal right to marry again, "as if his wife were deceased,"and denies Annie Dunbar the right to marry again so long as Frank Dunbar is living.1
