At probate her next of kin and heirs at law are named as Abraham Sypher, Leonard Lewis, Fanny Homan, Mary Ann Brower, and Lewis Sypher. The probate record states that she died in August 1814.^1,6

There is no surviving birth records for the remaining six children. Around 1732-34, Samuel moved his family up the Raritan River to northern New Jersey, and his children, with the exception of Samuel, a mariner, settled in the communities of Succasuanna, Mt. Freedom, Mendham, Peapack, Bernardsville, and Basking Ridge. Samuel and his wife appear to have lived with their son, Eliphalet.²
