Whereas William Patterson, Sr. by his will dated 18 Jan 1699 devised to his daughter, Elizabeth, 100 acres and the remainder of the plantation of St. George's to my son William, when they come of age to my loving wife Golah Patterson, 1/3 part of the estate. Deed signed by William Patterson, Mary Patterson, John Desmarett and Golah Desmarett. Delivered in the presence of James Dyre and Rebecca Dyre. Recorded 12 July 1723 (G1:211).²
