Bruere died without disposing of these two pieces of land and leaving heirs, all his children. Children of John H. Bruere: Susan Hunt, late Susan Bruere, wife of Asa Hunt; Ruth Tilton, late Ruth Bruere, wife of William Tilton; Price Bruere, Napolean B. Bruere; Joseph B. Bruere; George W. Bruere; and John Bruere. Susan, John and Stephen were the only children over 21 years of age.
