    Item, I do hereby give and direct my executors herein after named, full power to fell anf convey my plantaion whereon I now dwelleth after the said term of five years my wife's lease on the farm is expired and full power and authority to make a good and lawful title for the same.
    And also my will is that for the monies for my said plantation shall be equally divided among my children share and share alike.
    And also my will is that my wife shall have the grain that is now in the ground and that she shall lease, leave, as much when the said term of five years is expired.

  • Henry O. Brower and his wife, Marcia, settled in Danville, Vermilion Co., Indiana in the 1860s. He appears on the city directory there in 1867. He worked with another stonecarver named T.F. Bailey, operating the Danville Marble Works. Two years later he was the proprietor of the business at 21 Vermilion St., south of the Public Square. He appears to have been in partnership with other stonecarvers as well, with advertisements running in city directories and local newspapers through 1870. Stones co-signed with H.O. Brower include the names T.F. Bailey and J.L. Watson. Henry Brower appears to be in business for himself from 1870 until 1887. In the 1888-89 city directory he is listed as a marble salesman, but without an address.1
