  • Abraham Colt heard Owen Tudor's oral will at Windsor in Oct. 1690. In 1692 he was distributed land "below the Thomas Loveland lot" in the south part of Glastonbury, which was just then formed from the part of Wethersfield on the east side of the Connecticut River. An affidavit from Thomas Hooker states that Abraham Colt was discharged from training on 21 May 1705 because of "injuries to his foot which have crippled him for life." Statements have been made that he died prior to 1730, but that refers to his son, Abraham Colt, Jr.3
