This Indenture made the twenty ninth day of November in this year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred sixty six between Jacob Morlock, Christina Morlock his wife of Marion County Illinois Louis Morlock, Christine Morlock his wife, Carl Morlock, Lisette Morlock his wife and August Morlock all of St. Clair county, Illinois legal heirs of Daniel Morlock deceased of the first part and George Jacob Andres of the said County of St. Clair and state of Illinois of the second part Witnesseth that said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum 15,630 Fifteen thousand six hundred and thirty dollars in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold and by these present do grant bargain and sell unto the party of the second part his heirs and ____ all the following described lots, ___ or parcels of land situated in this County of St. Clair and the state of Illinois to wit the West half of the south East quarter of Section seventeen (17) in Township No. one (1) South Range six (6) West, containing eighty (80) acres more or less and subject to a dower of seventy five dollars ($75) due on Sept 6th in each year to George Andres senior during his natural life also the south East quarter of the north East quarter of the same section seventeen (17) in the same Township and Range also twenty (20) acres off of the East side of the south west quarter of the South east quarter of the same section Township and Range aforesaid And also the West half of the south West quarter of the south East quarter of Section twenty three (23) in said Township No. One (1) west Range Six West all of third prime meridian and containing in all one hundred and sixty acres more or less together with all and every ___ the hereditaments and appurentances thereunto belonging ____ ____ ____ opportunity all the Estate, rights, title, interest, claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part ____ either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the hereditaments and appurentances To have and to hold the said premises above bargained and described with the appurentances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever and the said Jacob Morlock, Christina Morlock his wife, Louis Morlock Christine Morlock his wife, Carl Morlock, Lisette Morlock his wife and August Morlock party of the first part hereby ex____ waive ____ and relinquish unto said party of the second part his heirs ____ _____ administrators and assigns all right, title, claim, interest and _____ whatever in and to the above described premises and each and every ____ _____ which is given by or ____ from all _____ ___ the state ____ to the ____ of homestead And the said Jacob Morlock, Christina Morlock his wife, Louis Morlock, Christine Morlock his wife, Carl Morlock, Lisette Morlock, and August Morlock party of the first part fro themselves and heir, heirs, executors and administrators do ____ grant bargain and _____ to order with the ____ of the ___ ____ _____ well seized of the premises there conveyed and grant and forfeit ___ ____ and indefeasible estate of ___ ____ ____ ____ and ___ grant ___ full from and lawful authority to grant bargain sell and convey the said in manner and from afore said and that the ___ are ___ and alone has all power and ____ grant bargain sell ____ ____ subject however to dower of 75.00 due September 6th each year to George Andres senior above stated and the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable ___ of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against all and evey person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part thereof the said party of the first part shall and will warrant and forever defend.
