Researching the Family Tree of Joseph Baxley born 1815

Joseph Baxley may have been a brother of Henry Baxley but in 1837 several were buying land in Alabama, including Edmund Baxley, Aaron, Samuel, John and James, so they all must have been born about 1800 - 1810 and possibly older.
James H. Baxley served in the Civil War and settled in Holtville, Elmore County, Alabama with wife Louisa Miranda HOLT. They are buried among several of their family members at Coosa Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Their daughter Ella Olivia Baxley married L. W. Hood and had Bessie Mae Hood who married Milton Elijah Thornton. These four are buried down the road at Cain's Chapel Church.

Bessie was called BUBBER and her daughter was named Mary Ella Thornton. Mary married James Edgar Brooks.
