J.N. BROOKS WRITES OF HIS ANCESTORS
My family is fortunate to have these documents. We've "thanked" J.N. Brooks many times over for taking time to record what he remembered of his ancestry. As you read you will see that there are some dates he's confused over (i.e. settlement of Connecticut) and he was not sure if it was Levi's father or grandfather killed in the F&I War. If you've read his Memoirs, you'll know that his health was very poor at this time. The marriages have all been verified. Some of Levi's children were born in Massachusetts and I've not found any more than those mentioned herein.
