From "The Wales Family: A Genealogy" by Charles P. Wales

"He accompanied his father to Boston in the Ship JAMES of Bristol. He inherited half of hi s father's lands in Dorchester, MA. He resided there at Unquety or Uncataqissett, which on May 7, 1662 was established as Milton, MA.

"There are no public records that he married more than once. There is a  statement of William How Whittemore that:
'Timothy Wales of Milton, was eminently pious and in the latter part of his life married a second wife, but she was so clamorous and uncomfortable, that he built a cave in the woods, where he lived alone for a number of years and died age 80.'"

"After his death the inventory of the estate of Timothy Wales taken Mar 31, 1690 included the house and 15 acres, 16 acres at Squantom Neck, one fourth of a house and lands at Boston, besides salt and fresh meadows."
