John II continued to reside in Yarmouth, and is known as Lieutenant John. It is not known whom he married nor the Christian name of his wife, but he had taken a wife before 1648, when children were recorded to him in Yarmouth.

In the "History of Barnstable County", "Annals of Yarmouth", pages 194-195, "...towards the charge of the late war", shows the tax-paying inhabitants at this date, and their comparative wealth.

Lived in Edgartown, Mass. He obtained freeman status in 1652.
