William and his wife Goodith came to America prior to October 1632 landing at Charlestown in the Mass
Bay Colony. He and his wife were admitted to the First Church of Charlestown October 6, 1632. They moved to Woburn in 1642 and William was one of the seven founders of the First Church of Woburn. His widow, mentioned as Jane, died January 24, 1661.
