Edward Barklow Born: Abt 1783 Married: 24/Sept/1806 Scioto Co., OH Died: after the Newton, Licking Co., OH census of 1860 FATHER MOTHER WIFE Ruth Patton b. 04/Aug/1784 NJ (daughter of Thomas Patton) d. 12/Oct/1863 buried: Wilson Cemetery, Vanattaburg, Newton Twp., Licking Co., OH
Edward married in Portsmouth in 1806. However, in 1810 he is back in Greenup Co., living right next to the widowed, Ruth Barkelow. He was listed as a town officer of Portsmouth in 1818 (History of lower Scioto Valley, Ohio) and he was listed on the 1820 census for Portsmouth. By 1840 he had moved to Licking Co. OH. There are no known children for Edward. However, there is a marker for an Ida E. Barklow right next to Susannah Barklow Hannah's marker. Ida may have been an infant niece of Susannah Barklow Hannahs.
