On Feb 19, 1798 the children sold the saw mill to Joseph Briggs.  All of the heirs of James Barkelow had to agree to the sale.  Listed are: Elizabeth, the widow of Jacques Barkelow, Johnson Barkelow, Benjamin Barkelow and Ruth his wife, Sarah Barkelow, Abraham Powelson and his wife Mary, Charles Beatty and Ellender his wife, Saint L. Stout and Ann his wife.  The sale is shown below.
