From his obituary:
"Born in Princeton, Ill., on May 23, 1907, son of Elmer G. and Belle Briggs Bridgham, he was a graduate of Lenox Memorial High School. He attended Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio, for four years. He had resided in Sitka, Alaska, and in Lenox and Pittsfield before moving to Windsor 30 years ago.
"Mr. Bridgham was employed in the naval Ordnance Department of General Electric Co. for 45 years as a cost estimator, retiring in 1971.
"He was a member of First Church of Christ, Congregational, in Pittsfield. He was a founding and charter member of the Mount Greylock Ski Club in New Ashford, and he also was a member of the Pittsfield Radio Club and of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL)."
