The "Stowell Genealogy" (www.familytreemaker.com) lists the following:
"Thomas Merrill (Crooker), b. 1 jan. 1831, d. Paris, Me., 20 Feb 1893, age 61, m. Locks Mills, Me., 24 Sept. 1863, Harriet Elisabeth Clark, dau. of James Thatcher and Harriet (Bridgham) Clark, b. Paris, Maine., 27 Jult 1841, d. there 8 Dec 1902. age 61. Children: i. Thomas Stowell, ii. Harriet Clarissa."
The 1850 Maine Census lists living in Paris, Maine, James F. (age 33) and Harriet B. Clark (age 34), and children Harriet E. (age 8) and George (age 4).
It is probable that this Harriet Elisabeth Clark and Lizzie Clark are the same person, and that Thomas Merrill Crooker and ? Crocker are the same person.
