These data were copied from the family Bible of William and Nancy BRIDGES which burned in a fire many years ago. I received this info from my Aunt Dixon (BRISTOL) MATTHEWS in a letter dated May 24, 1969, and personally knew her grandfather many years before this fire occurred.

There was never a son Thomas born to William and Nancy.

All the above is established by Bible, deed, wills and other previously printed histories.

For searchers not descended from William's children: Ambrose, Nancy, Martha and Elizabeth, there is enough information here to help you figure out which line you don't belong to. Descendents of these four pretty well know who each other is. But we wish to extend our knowledge base to include other cousins descended from John and Mary and all new info will be appreciated.
