This information I gathered from my visits to cemetaries, family histories, and interviews with important people. My main source has been a family history by the Rev Joseph Lasley entitled " A History of the Lasley Family with particular reference to the descendants of Joseph Lasley (1778-1844) of Stokes County, North Carolina" I have taken advantage of family sources and personal research as well as other resources available in this information age.(I hope nobody was left out!) Corrections and additional information is always welcomed.
