Turner Family
William TURNER & Sarah JOHNSON William was born in the village of Wales near Sheffield in the West Riding of Yorkshire, he married Sarah in Elmton in 1838. They are known to have had seven children, the oldest being born in Wales, Yorkshire where they lived after their marriage, before moving to Creswell where the other six children were born. They were both buried in Elmton, William in 1887 and Sarah in 1895.
