Documentation: I lost all original documents and sources in a 1998 flood.
However, my information was gleaned from records such as census,
marriage, death, deeds, wills, history books, correspondence etc.
Caveat: still not written in stone; always making corrections, changes,
documenting sources and Continuing the Hunt. After the death of Almedia
Nixon, James B. Caldwell married Nancy Lamar about 1836 and had several
more children (I suspect that Nancy Lamar had been previously married).
