such as parish registers, census enumerator's sheets, trade
directories, poor law records, and secondary documents
such as bishops' transcripts and graveyard headstone inscriptions.
In addition, brief extracts from various books and miscellaneous other
relevant material have been included. These records may also be accessed

The aim of this project is to provide
a free, on-line, searchable database of the 1891 census returns for the
county of Derbyshire. We are still looking for help with transcription,
checking
and validation. All you need are a computer, a microfiche

a method which will be of use to any reserachers who are transcribing genealogical
records, particularly if they wish to publish them on the web. |
