He married twice. He married Anna W. Weber ca. 1789. Anna was born 9/17/1766. Anna was the daughter of Henry (Hine) Kendig Weber and Eve Graybill Wenger. Anna died 6/14/1823 at 56 years of age. Her body was interred Weaverland Cemetary, Lancaster Co., PA. At 24 years of age Anna became the mother of Barbara W. Horst 7/12/1791. At 25 years of age Anna became the mother of Henry W. Horst 8/2/1792. At 27 years of age Anna became the mother of Maria Horst 10/2/1793. At 28 years of age Anna became the mother of Joseph W. Horst 4/15/1795. At 30 years of age Anna became the mother of John Horst 5/10/1797. At 32 years of age Anna became the mother of Anna W. "Nancy" Horst 7/15/1799. At 36 years of age Anna became the mother of Elizabeth Horst 1/28/1803. At 37 years of age Anna became the mother of David Horst 1/28/1804. At 40 years of age Anna became the mother of Susanna Horst 2/6/1807. He married Susanna Stauffer after 1823. Susanna was born 8/25/1783. Susanna was the daughter of Jacob Stauffer and Margaret Martin. Susanna died 3/6/1852 at 68 years of age.

At 21 years of age David became the father of Barbara W. Horst 7/12/1791. At 22 years of age David became the father of Henry W. Horst 8/2/1792. At 24 years of age David became the father of Maria Horst 10/2/1793. At 25 years of age David became the father of Joseph W. Horst 4/15/1795. At 27 years of age David became the father of John Horst 5/10/1797. At 29 years of age David became the father of Anna W. "Nancy" Horst 7/15/1799. At 33 years of age David became the father of Elizabeth Horst 1/28/1803. At 34 years of age David became the father of David Horst 1/28/1804. At 37 years of age David became the father of Susanna Horst 2/6/1807.

717 i. Barbara W.⁷ Horst was born 7/12/1791. Barbara died 2/20/1863 at 71 years of age. She married Jacob Z. Newswanger 10/19/1816. Jacob was born 8/7/1782. Jacob was the son of Emanuel Newswanger and Esther Zimmerman. Jacob died 10/7/1835 at 53 years of age.

718 ii. Henry W. Horst was born 8/2/1792. Henry died 2/28/1864 at 71 years of age. He married twice. He married Susanna Huber 6/1/1815. Susanna was born 10/26/1797. Susanna was the daughter of Abraham Huber and Barbara Eshleman. Susanna died 11/13/1836 at 39 years of age. At 22 years of age Susanna became the mother of Levi Horst 4/18/1820. At 28 years of age Susanna became the mother of Abraham Horst 3/2/1826. He married Barbara Huber after 1836. Barbara was born 12/30/1796. Barbara was the daughter of Abraham Huber and Barbara Eshleman. Barbara died 3/2/1864 at 67 years of age.

At 27 years of age Henry became the father of Levi Horst 4/18/1820. At 33 years of age Henry became the father of Abraham Horst 3/2/1826.

719 iii. Maria Horst was born 10/2/1793. Maria died 11/3/1868 at 75 years of age. She married Abraham Martin. Abraham was born 8/9/1794. Abraham was the son of Abraham Martin and Eva S. Wenger. Abraham died 11/29/1870 at 76 years of age. At 22 years of age Abraham became the father of Anna Martin 4/18/1817. At 31 years of age Abraham became the father of Elizabeth Martin 12/16/1825. At 36 years of age Abraham became the father of Moses Martin 9/16/1830.

At 23 years of age Maria became the mother of Anna Martin 4/18/1817. At 32 years of age Maria became the mother of Elizabeth Martin 12/16/1825. At 36 years of age Maria became the mother of Moses Martin 9/16/1830.

720 iv. Joseph W. Horst was born 4/15/1795. Joseph died 11/15/1883 at 88 years of age. He married Anna Weaver. Anna was born 1/2/1797. Anna was the daughter of Peter Weber and Veronica "Franny" S. Wenger. Anna died 2/24/1875 at 78 years of age.

721 v. John Horst was born 5/10/1797. John died 3/10/1877 at 79 years of age. He married Catharine Witwer 1820. Catharine was born 3/18/1795. Catharine was the daughter of Daniel Witwer and Anna Reiff. Catharine died 2/1/1878 at 82 years of age.

722 vii. Elizabeth Horst was born 1/28/1803. Elizabeth died 2/14/1826 at 23 years of age. She married Joseph Weaver. Joseph was born 2/12/1799. Joseph was the son of Joseph Weaver and Maria Burkholder. Joseph died 7/14/1878 at 79 years of age.

723 viii. David Horst was born 1/28/1804. David died 5/15/1884 at 80 years of age. He married Magdalena Martin 12/4/1832. Magdalena was born 4/14/1814. Magdalena was the daughter of Peter Martin and Anna Zimmerman. Magdalena died 2/23/1897 at 82 years of age.

724 ix. Susanna Horst was born 2/6/1807. Susanna died 11/2/1888 at 81 years of age. She married George Rutt. George was born 5/14/1800. George was the son of Henry Rutt and Anna Martin. George died 12/1/1872 at 72 years of age.
