Subject: probably Alfred BRAILSFORD

Notes: A sad little lad aged about 3! This collar was fashionable in the school photos of circa 1917 but was probably widely used for a couple of decades so it's difficult to put a date on it. Note he is holding a rod behind him to keep him still for the time-lapse photography.

By comparison with the following photograph, it seems this was probably Alfred BRAILSFORD. This assumption would date the photo at circa 1905, which is quite plausible.
