She lived with her parents one mile east of Lucas.  She was in poor health and one Sunday when her folks returned home they found her with her head in a pillow smothered with chloroform.  Cause toothache.

1918- Oct. 23..Ben was inducted in First World War at Cadillac.  He was in the 57th Ammunition Training Camp at Huestis, Va. and was discharged Dec. 19, 1918.
