When a young man, Peter Boyd went to Iowa where he was married.
1872- They moved to a farm near Clay Center, Neb. where they remained.
1920 June 8- Two of his nieces, Minnie Frisbey Pyles and Frances Frisbey Franke, who were visiting another niece, Lila Boyd McCourtie at Kennard, Ne. with Lila's daughter, Mrs.Fletcher Call (Nina) and family drove 130 miles to visit their uncle but found he had gone to visit his daughter, however the spent the next day with the family and returned June 10th. On the way they stopped to see the oldest son, Earl Boyd who was a Dr. at Central City, Ne. Oct. 1957- Peter and Addie Boyd lived on their farm until their deaths after which their son Ray moved there.
