Edward's sister) OBITUARY OF HOMER BOYD: Boyd Homer, about 71, a lifelong resident of the Wawaka community, died at his home northeast of Wawaka at 1:15 a.m. March 23, 1951. He was a retired farmer, born in LaGrange County Jan. 28, 1880, the son of Ed and Jane McBeth Boyd. Nov. 27, 1902 he was married to Nellie Frick east of Cosperville. He was a member of the Cosperville Baptist Church. Surviving are the wife; two sons, Claude of Gary, and Kenneth, Wawaka; four daughters, Mrs. George Bearss of Rochester, Mrs. Richard Long of Goshen, Mrs. Joseph Eberly of Kendallville, and Mrs. Fred Ott of Ligonier; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral was at Cosperville Church Sunday. Burial, Cosperville Cemetery. He died at a hospital three hours later. Surviving are the widow, Thelma; a small son, Dickie; his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Eberly near Kendallville, Mrs. Lucille Long, Goshen, and Mrs. Marceda Bears, Rochester; and two brothers, Kenneth Wawaka, and Claude, Gary, with whom he was engaged in business. + 1-?-1949

St Joseph Co., Mi Obits Forum Hattie Farrow, died Dec.14,1935 Surname: BOYD, DOMER, FARROW, FINNEY, MACBETH, NOEL Mrs. Hattie Farrow, 69, of 209 North Park Street, widow of the late Joseph Farrow, died of heart trouble at the Sturgis Memorial Hospital this morning. Her husband, a member of the city commission, died suddenly of a heart attack November 20. Mrs. Farrow was born April 24, 1866, in LaGrange County, the daughter of Isaiah and Jane Macbeth Finney. She is survived by a half-sister, Wilma Domer, of Howe; two half-brothers, Homer Boyd, Wawaka,Ind., and Frank Boyd, Salem,Ind; and a nephew, Guy Noel, of LaGrange. Funeral services will be held at the Keasey Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, with Rev. Stanley B. Niles, pastor of the local Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be made in Oaklawn Cemetery, Sturgis, Mi.
