Other Bowles likely to connect up to this family:

The following reference could be for the Charles Bowles above.  However, the above Charles was a smith in Fethard in 1824.  He would have had to become a shoemaker in Clonmel by 1840.  It's possible as his brother, Robert, was a shoemaker in Fethard.   Charles could have given up his father's occupation (smith), perhaps when brother William returned to the family smith trade after his discharge from the Tipperary Militia in 1829,  and learned shoemaking from his brother and set up a business in Clonmel.  Alternatively this is a second Charles, perhaps a cousin of theirs.

Charles Bowles m. Honora Hatcher
(was "a shoemaker at Clonmel" in 1840)
                        3.1  Michael Boles b. ~ 1812 Clonmel
                                    m. Eliza Brimmer (b. ~ 1813, London)
Michael emigrated to Australia in 1840 (with no children) reference
