Jane Bowles married Thomas Evans in county Cavan, Ireland in 1820 and soon after emigrated to Canada with his family.  They first settled in Durham co. and then moved on to Simcoe co. in 1826.  The Evans settled at Con. 10 Lot 14 West Gwillimbury.  References for Evans Family    Jane Bowles family tree   

George Bowles probably accompanied his sister Jane to Canada as he married Catherine Evans in Ontario and their son, John, was born in Simcoe co. in 1826.  George Bowles family tree

Another brother, James, remained in Ireland, married and later emigrated to the U.S. with his wife ,Sarah, and son, George, where two more children were born.  About 1843 this family joined the others in West Gwillimbury.  James Bowles family tree
