Elizabeth (Betty) Bowles, age 78 of 225 Ross Street passed away after a brief stay in St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, May 15, 2005.

Survived by son Edward (Diane), 3 grandchildren Chris (Robin) Bowles and Cheryl (Jamie) Ross of Thunder Bay and Carla Bowles of Columbia, South America, 5 great grandchildren Emily and Ryan Bowles and Alison, Michelle and Shannon Ross, brother John, sisters Jane and Dorothy (England), sister-in-law Marion LaPorte (Winnipeg) and special friend and confidant Norma Barnes (England). Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Predeceased by husband Harold, mom and dad Barnes, mom and dad Bowles, brothers Tom and Edward, brothers-in-law Ben LaPorte, Joe Drinkald and George Holmes, sisters-in-law Emily and Stella Barnes.

As per Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
