The Feltis spelling may just have been the result of a new parish clerk. The reference to Myshall parish is a connection to this family's origins with the Feltus family of Hollybrook House, Myshall parish, co. Carlow which is about 7 miles to the SE of Dunleckney and was the residence of Adam Bloomfield Feltus at that time

Joseph’s brother John Bowles and cousin (or uncle as we don’t know yet whether William Sr. or Jr. died in Dunleckney in 1818) William Bowles also both lived in Dunleckney in 1808.
