it is never too late to give us a hand! No fiche reader is needed; volunteers need only a computer and some spare time.
 

1861 or 1871 census pieces on CD are loaned to transcribers by supporters of the project;
 

Software and support are provided by FreeCEN and the County Coordinator.

We still have some 1891  1871 and 1861 pieces unallocated  particularly in the Wrexham area.
 

Transcribers for 1891 do need regular easy access to a fiche reader.
