THE FREECEN Census Project INDEX

FreeCEN's  aim is to provide a free-to-view on-line searchable
database  of the census returns for the whole country. 
This page shows the Index of the Counties I am presently looking after.

Volunteers from all over the world are transcribing the census 
from the CD's , freely loaned  by the LDS, 
into a specially written database. 
Without the volunteers invaluable support this project would not exist.

  4. it is never too late to give us a hand! No fiche reader is needed (Unless you wish to do the 1891 census) Volunteers need only a computer and some spare time.
     

  5. 1871 census pieces on CD are loaned to transcribers by supporters of the project;
     

  6. Software and support are provided by FreeCEN and the County Coordinator.
