He married Anne-Antoinette Durand in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada, 13 August 1661.⁽¹⁷⁸⁸⁾ Anne-Antoinette was born 1636.⁽¹⁷⁸⁹⁾ Anne-Antoinette was the daughter of Guillaume Durand and Marguerite LeTellier.

He resided in Tourouvre, Perche, France.⁽¹⁷⁹⁰⁾

Nicolas Delaunay and Anne-Antoinette Durand had the following children:

2 i. Francoise² Delaunay. She married Nicolas Cadrin in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 23 October 1679.⁽¹⁷⁹¹⁾ Nicolas was born 1654.⁽¹⁷⁹²⁾ Nicolas was the son of Thomas Cadrin and Marguerite Corsonniere. His body was interred 13 December 1700 in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada.⁽¹⁷⁹³⁾ (See Nicolas Cadrin for the continuation of this line.)

She was baptized in Chateau-Richer, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 14 August 1664. Religion: religion unknown.⁽¹⁷⁹⁴⁾

3 ii. Nicolas Delaunay. His body was interred 21 February 1703 in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada.⁽¹⁷⁹⁵⁾ He married Elizabeth DeRainville in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada, 29 August 1695.⁽¹⁷⁹⁶⁾

4 iii. Pierre Delaunay. His body was interred 17 August 1699 in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada.⁽¹⁷⁹⁸⁾ He was baptized in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 15 December 1668. Religion: religion unknown.⁽¹⁷⁹⁹⁾

5 iv. Marie-Madeleine Delaunay. She married Francois Morvent in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 4 February 1694.⁽¹⁸⁰⁰⁾

She was baptized in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 6 June 1671. Religion: religion unknown.⁽¹⁸⁰¹⁾
