2. Jacques² Archambault (Antoine¹) was born in Dompierre, LaRochelle, Aunis, France 1604. His body was interred 15 February 1688 in Montreal, Montreal, PQ, Canada.

He married Francoise Chauveau in St. Philbert, Charrault, France, 24 January 1629. Francoise was born in Dompierre, LaRochelle, Aunis, France 1600.

He resided in Dompierre, LaRochelle, Aunis, France.⁽⁶²⁾

Jacques Archambault and Francoise Chauveau had the following children:

3 i. Denis³ Archambault was born in Dompierre, LaRochelle, Aunis, France 12 September 1630. Denis died 1652 at 21 years of age. Killed by an explosion from a cannon he was trying to fire at the Iroquois. He married Jeanne Gervais in Montreal, Montreal, PQ, Canada.

4 ii. Anne Archambault was born in France ABT 1631. Her body was interred 30 July 1699 in Montreal, Montreal, PQ, Canada. She married twice. She married Michel Chauvin in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada, 29 July1647. She married Jean Gervaise in Montreal, Montreal, PQ, Canada, 3 February 1654.

5 iii. Jacquette Archambault was born 1632.⁽⁶³⁾ Her body was interred 17 December 1700 in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada.⁽⁶⁴⁾ She married Paul Chalifour in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada, 28 September 1648.⁽⁶⁵⁾ Paul was born 1618.⁽⁶⁶⁾ Paul was the son of Paul Chalifour and Marie Gabouri. Paul died ABT 1679 in LaCanardiere, Quebec, PQ, Canada. He resided in Perigny, LaRochelle, Aunis, France. (See Paul Chalifour for the continuation of this line.)

She resided in Dompierre, LaRochelle, Aunis, France.

6 iv. Marie Archambault was born in LaRochelle, Aunis, France 24 February 1636. Her body was interred 16 August 1719 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal, PQ, Canada. She married Urbain Tessier in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada, 28 September 1648.⁽⁶⁷⁾

7 v. Laurent Archambault was born January 1642. His body was interred 19 April 1730 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal, PQ, Canada. He married Catherine Marchand in Montreal, Montreal, PQ, Canada, 7 January 1660.

8 vi. Marie Archambault was born in France 1644. Her body was interred 8 August 1685 in Montreal, Montreal, PQ, Canada. She married Gilles Lauzon in Montreal, Montreal, PQ, Canada, 27 November 1656.
