Louis was the son of Jean Lemelin dit Tourangeau and Marguerite Brassard. His body was interred 26 January 1741 in St. Laurent, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada.(1809) He was baptized in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada, 22 March 1664.
