He married Denise Leclerc in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 3 October 1669.⁽¹⁸⁰⁶⁾ Denise was born 1654.⁽¹⁸⁰⁷⁾ Denise was the daughter of Jean Leclerc and Jeanne Nigremond.

Claude Delaunay and Denise Leclerc had the following children:

3 i. Marie-Anne³ Delaunay. Her body was interred 29 April 1756 in St. Laurent, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada.⁽¹⁸⁰⁸⁾ She married Louis Lemelin in St. Laurent, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 23 September 1691. Louis was the son of Jean Lemelin dit Tourangeau and Marguerite Brassard. His body was interred 26 January 1741 in St. Laurent, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada.⁽¹⁸⁰⁹⁾ He was baptized in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada, 22 March 1664. She was baptized in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 7 January 1676. Religion: religion unknown.⁽¹⁸¹¹⁾

4 ii. Jean Delaunay. He was baptized in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 23 September 1671. Religion: religion unknown.⁽¹⁸¹²⁾

5 iii. Bernard Delaunay. He was baptized in Ste. Famille, Ile d'Orleans, Montmorency, PQ, Canada, 3 September 1673. Religion: religion unknown.⁽¹⁸¹³⁾
