The following record is a testator index of the book "Minutes: Inventory & Appraisement, 1850 - 1860" for Rabun Co., GA held in the Probate Judge's office at the courthouse in Clayton. There are some wills recorded in this book. At the bottom are listed some minors of the deceased named herein; another section lists some slaves as they were named, and the final section deals with miscellaneous items mentioned in this book.

Other notes: Pages 183, 253 and 290 were blank. Page 186 was numbered twice in the book; herein, the first 186 is referred to as 186A and the second as 186B. There was a page 193 and then a page 193A. Page 206/207 was torn out of the book. Two pages between pages 214 and 215 were unnumbered. Starting at page 354, the pages were misnumbered; page 354 reads "34", and the pages thereafter start at 345 and continue. The page numbers jump from 375 to 396.

         state
Page 108: 1854, ordered that a percentage of the state tax go to
          poor school fund

          appointed trustees of the poor school of Tallulah Dist.
