Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery
From the red light on Hwy. 441 at Dairy Queen, take Rickman Street. Go about 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Warwoman Road. Go about 5.3 miles. Turn left onto Antioch Church Road. Go less than 1/10 mile to cemetery behind the church on the right.


Bleckley Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 3 miles. Turn left at a brown sign reading "Bleckley Cemetery" onto an otherwise unmarked gravel road. Go about .1 miles to the cemetery at the end of this road.


Cannon Cemetery (aka Alley Cemetery)
From Hwy. 441 in Clayton at the red light near Dairy Queen, take Savannah Street toward downtown Clayton. Go .2 miles. Turn left onto Old Hwy. 441S (South Main Street). Go 6.3 miles. Turn left at the sign reading "Cannon Cemetery". Bear left. Go about .1 miles. Road dead-ends at the cemetery.


Chechero Baptist Church Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 5 miles. Turn left into the church parking lot. Cemetery is beside the church on the side of the road.


Clayton Baptist Church Cemetery
From the red light at the Dairy Queen in Clayton, take Hwy. 76W (Savannah Street). Go .2 miles. Turn left onto South Church Street. Go about .1 miles. Bear to the right around Clayton Baptist Church. Cemetery is at the end of the parking lot behind the church.


Dixon Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 4.3 miles. Turn left onto Rainey Mountain Road. Go about .1 miles. Turn right onto Jeff Ramey Road. Go about .2 miles. Take the middle road at the sign reading "Dixon Cemetery". Bear left near the top of the hill to the cemetery on the left. Beware of dogs.


Fountain Family Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Claude Smith Road. Go about .4 miles. Turn right onto Annie Perry Lane. Go about .3 miles to a stone marker on the left reading "Fountain Family Cemetery". The road is barred by a wooden gate. The cemetery is on a path through the gate. It was established in 1996.


Godfrey Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 6 miles. Turn left onto a gravel driveway marked by a very small sign reading "5995". After less than 1/10 mile, there will be a red gate across the road. Park to the right. The cemetery is on the right of the road. If you miss the gravel driveway, you will see a brown sign on the left reading "Godfrey Cemetery"; the cemetery is clearly visible from the road.


Hale Ridge Cemetery
From the red light on Hwy. 441 at Dairy Queen, take Rickman Street. Go about 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Warwoman Road. Go about 9.5 miles. Turn left onto Hale Ridge Road. Go about 3.5 miles. Turn right onto a dirt road leading to a pavillion at a sign saying "Welcome to Hale Ridge Community Mt. Zion Baptist Church Established 1883". The cemetery is behind the pavllion on the left surrounded by a fence.


Perry Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Claude Smith Road. Go about .4 miles. Turn right onto Annie Perry Lane. Go about .4 miles to the end of Annie Perry Lane. Park at the red gate. The cemetery is on top of the hill to the right.


Pickett Cemetery
From the red light at the Dairy Queen in Clayton, take Hwy. 76W (Savannah Street). Go .2 miles. Turn right onto North Church Street. Go about .1 miles. Turn left onto Pickett Hill Street. Go .2 miles to a brown sign reading "Pickett Cemetery". Bear left onto a gravel road. Farther down, you will see a green sign reading "Pickett Cemetery". Bear left again. This road dead-ends at the cemetery.


Pinson Cemetery
From the red light at the Dairy Queen in Clayton, go north on Hwy. 441 about 4.4 miles. Turn left onto John Beck Dockins Road. Go about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Wolffork Road. Go about 1.5 miles to a sign on the left-hand side of the road reading "Pinson Cemetery". Note: I did not walk down to the cemetery from the road because the path was so overgrown as to be impassable.


Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery
From the red light on Hwy. 441 at Dairy Queen, take Rickman Street. Go about 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Warwoman Road. Go about 6.7 miles. Turn left at the church entrance. The cemetery is to the right behind the church.


Rabun Memorial Park Cemetery
From Hwy. 441 in Clayton at the red light near Dairy Queen, take Savannah Street toward downtown Clayton. Go .2 miles. Turn left onto Old Hwy. 441S (South Main Street). Go about 4.3 miles. Turn right onto Garnet Lane. Go about .1 miles to the cemetery.


Roane Cemetery
From Hwy. 441 in Clayton at the red light near Dairy Queen, take Savannah Street toward downtown Clayton. Go .2 miles. Turn left onto Old Hwy. 441S (South Main Street). Go about 1.5 miles. Turn right into the cemetery, which is on the side of the road.


Rogers Family Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 4.2 miles. Turn right onto East Wolf Creek Road. Go about .7 miles to a steep grass and gravel drive on the left. Park at the bottom and walk up this road to the cemetery on the left. Cemetery established circa 2000.


Smith Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Claude Smith Road. Go about .4 miles. Turn left onto Begonia Court. Go about .3 miles. Bear right at 340 Begonia Court. Just pass this house, take the unmarked road on the right leading up the hill. Go about .1 miles to the cemetery.


Taylor Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 4.2 miles. Turn right onto East Wolf Creek Road. Go about 1.6 miles (the road turns from paved to gravel after about a mile). Turn left onto Carl Field Taylor Road. Go about .1 miles. Park to the right. Cemetery is to the right of the road about 50 feet out on a small grassy knoll.


Tiger Cemetery
From Hwy. 441 in Clayton at the red light near Dairy Queen, take Savannah Street toward downtown Clayton. Go .2 miles. Turn left onto Old Hwy. 441S (South Main Street). Go about 2.9 miles. Turn left onto Turpin Street. After less than 1/10 mile, turn right onto Jones Street. Go aobut .1 miles to the cemetery on the left.


Turpin Cemetery
From the red light on Hwy. 441 at Dairy Queen, take Rickman Street. Go about 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Warwoman Road. Go about 5.3 miles. Turn right onto Sandy Ford Road. Go about 3.4 miles. Park in a small dirt area to the right, just before the driveway for 3500 Sandy Ford Road. The cemetery is in a field to the right of the road. It was established ca. 1999.


Wiley Community Cemetery
From Hwy. 441 in Clayton at the red light near Dairy Queen, take Savannah Street toward downtown Clayton. Go .2 miles. Turn left onto Old Hwy. 441S (South Main Street). Go about 7.2 miles. turn right onto Wiley Church Lane. Go about .3 miles. Turn right onto Memorial Lane. After less than 1/10 mile, bear right at the fork. Go about .1 miles to cemetery on the right.


Williams Cemetery
From the intersection of Hwy. 441 and Hwy. 76E (McDonald's), take Hwy. 76E toward South Carolina. Go about 5.2 miles to just past Pool Creek Road. Turn left onto an unmarked grassy, hidden road. Park and walk to the cemetery. Please obtain persmission before going to the cemetery.
