It is unknown who Reuben Beasley's parents were at this time, but he may have had a brother named William Beasley. This William was born c1803 in Buncombe Co., NC and married Nancy Hebberts on September 8, 1822 in Haywood Co., NC. Nancy may have been a sister to Jane Hubbard Beasley. Another sibling of Reuben may have been Sarah Beasley who married Benjamin Quilliams on September 11, 1822 in Haywood Co., NC. Sarah Beasley Quilliams was born c1805 in SC. Her marriage bond lists her father as Joseph Beasley. Jane Hubbard Beasley's mother was named Jaleah, or Julia. I have been unable to determine who Jane's father was, but it may have been John Hubbard of Haywood Co., NC. Most of this is speculation, however, and I urge other researchers to use this information cautiously.
