HENRY SNELL - Page 26 & 27

In the name of God Amen I Henry Snell of the Parish of Saint Stephens in Branwell in the county of Cornwall (tenner?) being of sound mind memory and understanding do therefore make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in mannor and form following

First and principaly I commit my soul to the Almighty God and my body to the Earth there to be decently and plainly buried and as for my temporal Estate and Effects that providance have blessed me with I give and dispose thereof as followeth.

Item I give unto my daughter Grace Jenkin the sum of one shilling.

Item I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Snell the sum of two pound and two shillings.

Item I give unto my son Henry Snell five? shillings.

item I give unto my daughter Ann R(?-)ing the sum of one pound and one shilling.

Item I give unto my daughter Jane Snell the sum of six pounds.

Item I give unto my son John Snell the sum of five shillings.

Item I give unto my son Thomas Snell all my tinn stream works or mines which are now in my postion and situate in the parish aforesaid.

Item I give unto my daughter All(-?-) Snell the sum of six pounds to be paid her when she shall or may attain to the age of twenty one years.

After all the above said debets and legacies are paid whatsoever (-?-) of my e(-?-) estates goods chattles or money I give as followeth (that is)

To my wife whom I do appoint to be my lawfull Executor of this my last Will and Testament and further after her death that is the death of my wife my will and meaning of that(,?) that my son Thomas Snell be my lawfull Executor in the same manner as my wife above said or if my wife do marry I give her but one shilling only and my Will and meaning is that I make Thomas Snell my son my lawfull Executor of this my last Will and Testament after the death of my wife or if she alter her condition and marry again other wise that is if my wife live unmarried that my wife remain my lawfull Executor and pay all legacies at the end of one year after my death except as above is excepted that is my daughter All(-?-) Snell if she is not twenty one years of age not to payed her before she is twenty one years of age nor for my son Thomas to have the above said stream work or works before the end of one year after my death

This is my last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills and Testaments.

ANTHONY JENKIN - page 191 & 192

In the name of God Amen the 19th day of November 1767 I Anthony Jenkin of the Parish of St. Stephens in Brannal in the County of Cornwall being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for the same therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to dye I do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it me and my body I recomment to the Earth to be buried in desent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executor hereafter mentioned Nothing doubting but at the General Resuerection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God. And as touching such wordly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless in(-?-) this life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manor and form.

First I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Jenkin the sum of five shillings to be paid him within one year after my decease.

Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Jenkin the sum of five shillings to be paid him within one year after my decease.

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Mathew Jenkin the sum of ten pounds of lawfull money of great Brittain to be paid him within one year after my decease.

Item I give and bequeath unto James Reckard; the son of James Reckard deceased the house and garden now in the possession of the sd. James Reckard's widow as long as the lives on the same shall e(?)ppents live but if the sd. James Reckard the son of James Reckard deceased shall happen to dye before the sd. lives now on the sd. house and garden that then immetionly after his death my son Peter Jenkin shall enjoy and possesse the same

Item all the rest of my (-?-) tenments mortgages goods & chattles bills bonds and read money whatsoever and wheresoever the same is I do hereby give and bequeath unto my son Peter Jenkin makeing my son Peter Jenkin my hole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament I do here by utterly disallow revoke and disannull all and every other former Testaments Wills Legacies and Bequests by me in any ways before named.

In the name of God Amen the 7th day of August 1771 I Robert Trethewy of the parish of St. Stephens in Brannel in the County of Cornwall tinner being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thinks be given unto God for the same therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all man once to die I do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my (-?-) into the hands of amighty God who gave it me; and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial as the di(-?-)eration of my Executrix hereafter mentioned nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God: and as (-?-) such wordly estate wherewith it has pleased God to (be?) (some?) in this life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form

First I give and bequeath unto George Trethewy my son one shilling to be paid him within one year after my decease.

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Richards the wife of Nicholas Richards one shilling to be paid her within one year after my decease.

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter in law A(-?-)y Trethewy widow of my son John Trethewy one shilling to be paid her within one year after my decease.

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter in law Mary Trethewy widow of my son Robert Trethewy one shilling to be paid her within one year after my decease.

Item I give and bequeath unto my grandson Edward Trethewy one shilling to be paid him within one year after my decease.

Item all the rest of my messuages tenements mortgages (-?-) specialties or bills bonds and ready money whatsoever and wheresoever the same is or maybe and all that I shall die possessed of I do hereby give and bequeath unto my well beloved wife Grace Trethewy making my wife Grace Trethewy my hole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby utterly disalow revoke and disanull all and everyother former Testaments Will Legacies and requests and Executors by me in anyways before named

In the name of God Amen I John Rickard of the Parish of Saint Stephens in Brannell in the County of Cornwall tinner being weak of body but in sound and perfect memory blessed be the almighty God for the same. I do therefore make this my last Will and Testament in manner following

First and principaly I committ my soul unto the almighty God and my body to Christian burial as for my temporal effects that providance have blessed me with I give and dispose as followeth

I give unto my eldest son John Rickard the sum of one shilling to be paid him by my hereafter named Executor when he shall attain to the age of twenty one years.

Also I give unto my daughters Mary(,?) Elizabeth and Susannah one shilling each to be paid them when they shall attain to the age of twenty one years.

Also I give unto Thomas my son one shilling to be paid when he shall or may attain to the age of twenty one years.

Also I give unto my daughters Ann(,?) Honour(,?) Phillippa, and Lucey one shilling each to be paid them as they shall or may attain to twenty one years of age.

Also all my estates goods chattells creditts bills bonds acc(-?-) (-?-) and (-?-) whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth Rickard whome I do appoint to be my lawfull Executor of this my last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills and Testaments whatsoever. I William Yelland of the Parish of St. Stephens in Brannell in the County of Cornwall yeoman being of sound and perfect and disposing mind memory and understanding do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking all & every fomer and other Will & Wills by me made in manner following / that is to say /

First I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Yelland the sume of One Hundred pounds to be paid her one year after my decease.

Also I give unto my grand son William Truscott the sume of twenty pounds to his age of one & twenty years.

Also I give unto my grand daughter Mary Truscott the daughter of Lewis Truscott the sume of twenty pounds to her age of one & twenty years.

Also I give unto my grand daughter Ginifer Truscott the daughter of Lewis Truscott the sume of twenty pounds to her age of one & twenty years.

Also my wife Mary Yelland I do make & ordain shes to be my whole & sole Executor of all my Estates Goods Chattles & Chattle & Effects whatsoever subject to the payment of my just debts and the legacies aforesaid of this my last Will & Testament.

In the name of God Amen I Grace Trethewy of the parish of St Stephens in Brannell widow, being weak in body but of sound memory - blessed be God, do this twenty third day of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and seventy one, make and publish this my last Will and Testament, in manner following / that is to say

Imprimis, I give and bequeath unto my son George Trethewy five pounds to be paid him in one year after my decease by my Executors

Item I give unto my grandson Edward Trethewy five pounds to be paid him in one year after my decease by my Executors and the bed and beding he now lye on

Also I give unto my grand daughter Grace Trethewy five pounds to be paid her in one year after my decease by my Executors

Also I give all my wharein cloaths, unto my daughter Ann Riches

Item all the rest and residue of my goods chattles and personal estate, whatsoever, I give to my son Henry Trethewy, and my daughter Ann Riches home I make and ordain to be my hole and sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament, and I do here utterly deny disalow and disanil all former Wills by me in any wise made, ratifying and confirming, this and no other, to be my last Will and Testament.

By permission of almighty God I Richard Watts of the parish of Stephens in Brannel and county of Cornwall being weak in boddy but of sound memory blessed be God for it Do this third day of January one thousand seven and seventy three, make and publish this my laste Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) -

I give unto Ann Watts my well beloved wife my two estates in Nanzenrth and my tenement in High Street during her natural life, and after her decease I give the same unto my son Zachariah Watts.

I give unto my daughter Ann Tiller my tennement in Hen Moore, wharein Nicholas Richards, now dwells, in paying her son William Tiller five pounds and five shillings, when he shall arrive to the age of twenty one years

I give unto my daughter Jane Andrew wife of John Andrew there sum of three pounds a year during her natural life to be paide by my Executor

I likewise give unto my daughter Jane Andrews children as follows, namely

I give unto Grace Andrew the sum of five pounds to be paide when she shall attaine the age of twenty one years

I give unto Ann Andrew the sum of five pounds when she shall attain the age of twenty one years

I give unto John Andrew the sum of five pounds to be paid at the age of twenty one years

I give unto Richard Andrew the sum of five pounds to be paid at the age of twenty one years

I give unto George Andrew the sum of five pounds to be paid at the age of twenty one years.

And if either of them shall dye before they shall arive at the age of twenty one years, there partes shall be divided betwixt those who shall be then alive

I give unto my daughter Mary Watts the sum of eighty pounds to be paid in one year after my deceas.

All the rest residue and remainder of my goods chattles and personal effects whatsoever I give unto my wife Ann Watts whome I make my whole and sole Executor to perform this my laste Will and Testament and I do uterly revoake all former Will or Wills by me in any wais made or declared - ratifying this to be my laste Will and Testament. In witness whareof the said Richard Watts to this my laste Will and Testament have hereunto set my hand and seal
