August 4th 1746 I William Larke of the parish of St Stephens in Branwell do acknowledge this to be my last Will and Testament lyeing on a bead of sickness but in my perfect sences.

Item I give unto my daghter Ann the wife of William Lewarne ten pounds to be paid thirteen years after my decease.

Item I give unto my daghter Grace Lark twenty pounds to be paid seven years after my decease

And as for my estate goods and chattells credits I do make my wife Rebecca Larke, William Larke my son and Edward Lark my son wholly and soly executors as witness my hand

The before written will was proved in common forme the 17th July 1747 before the Revd Mr Wm Waddon Clerk Master of Arts Official &c. and Admion of the goods &c. of the deced was granted to Rebecca Lark the widdow of the deced and one of the exect named in the said will reserveing a power of granting the [?] admion to Wm and Edward Lark the sons of the deced and the others of the executors named in the said will when they shall attain lawfull years of age to take the same  /  being first sworne &c.

Saveing &c. In: [90?] pounds 81 pounds 8 s. 0 d.  /

The before written will is a true copy examined and compared with the original this 18th July 1747

In the name of God Amen I John Harris of the parish of St Stephens in Branwell in the county of Cornwall being weak of body but of sound & perfect memory blessed be God therefore do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say

First I command my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth from whence it came in hopes of a joyfull resurrection and as for my wordly estate where with it hath pleased God to bless me I dispose thereof as follows

First I give unto my beloved wife the full sum of twenty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid at the end of three months [next?] after my decease also I give and devise unto my said wife the sum of five pounds yearly & every year during the terme of her natural life to [?] her by quarterly paymts/ provided it shall so happen that she shale think fitt to remove and not live and inhabit with my executor hereafter named and not otherwise but as long as she shall think fitt to live & inhabit with my said executor the aforesaid legacy of five pounds yearly shall cease and remain unpaid but in lieu & consideration there of my [?] executor shall find provide and allow at his own proper cost and charges a sufficient maintenance of all kinds of [?] convenient for her to have during all such time as she my said wife shall so think fitt to live and inhabit with him and no longer and for the [?] the payment of the aforesd/ five pounds yearly by quarterly payments as it shall or may happen to become due & payable as aforesaid my Will and pleasure is that I hereby subject the house where I now dwell in & on the grounds belonging to the [?] also the house meadow and premisses I lately bought which were lately in the possession of one Henry Coad deced for payment of the same and do charge as a rent charge all and every part of the aforesaid several premisses with the payment thereof as aforesaid to be [?] and recovered by distress as other rents are or may be [?] & recovered

Also I give unto my son William Harris one guenea of gold to be paid at the end of one year after my decease

Also I give unto my daughter Jane now Jane Thomas one guine of gold to be paid at the end of one year after my deceased

Also I give unto my daughter Ann now Ann Truscott one guine of gold to be paid at the end of one year after my deceased

All the rest residue and remainder of my stocks goods chattels credits bills bonds notes moneys reckoning and accounts of what kind or nature so ever they are

I give devise and bequeath unto my son John Harris whom I make constitute and appoint my whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament he my said Executor paying full filling and performing every article herein contained according to the true intent and meaning there of in witness where of I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal the fifth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty six

In the name of God Amen I Joseph Rowe of the parish of St Stephens in Branwell in the county of Cornwall being weak in body but in sound and perfect memory (blessed be God therefore) do make and publish this my last will and testament, revokeing all former wills, in manner and forme following (that is to say)

First I commend my soul into the hands of allmighty God, and my body to the earth from whence it came, in hopes of a joyfull resurrection, and as for that worldly estate, wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me, I dispose thereof as follows.

First I give unto my dearly beloved wife the sume of five pounds to be paid her at the end of four months after my decease.

Item I give unto Thomas Bulland that now lives with me, he being a son my wife had before my marriage with her, which said son I verily believe to be my own begetting, the sume of one hundred pounds to be paid him at his attaining the full age of twenty one years, and further I give the said Thomas Bulland five pounds every yeare to be paid him by quarterly payments, until he shall attain the age of sixteen years, and in case the said Thomas shall happen to dye in his minority, then the said sume of one hundred pounds shall still be and remaine in the hands and to the only use of my executor hereafter named.

Item that in case my dearly beloved wife happens to be with child at the time of my decease and such child and children shall be born alive, then I give unto my said wife one shilling every week from the time of the birth of such child or children during the terme of twelve years payable weekly, towards the maintainance of such child or children, but in case such child or children shall happen to dye before he or they shall attaine the age of twelve years, then and from thenceforth the said one shilling [?per] week the payment is to cease and remaine to my Executor.

Item I give unto my dear mother Catherine Rowe ten pounds to be paid her at the end of six month after my decease

Item I give unto my sister Catherine five pounds to be paid her at the end of six months after my decease.

Item I give unto my sister Grace, now Grace Slade, twenty shillings.

Item I give unto my sister Mary Roberts twenty shillings.

Item I give unto my sister Ann ten pounds to be paid her when she shall accomplish the age of twenty one years.

Item I give unto the poor of this parish twenty shillings to be distributed between them the Sunday next after my decease.

Item All the rest of my stock, goods, chattels, credits, bills, bonds, notes, moneys, reckonings and accounts whatsoever, or of what nature soever they are, I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved brother William Rowe, and do hereby make, constitute and appoint him my whole and sole Executor of this my last will and testament he paying my debts and legacyes and performing [and?] fullfilling every article and clause as aforesaid.

In wittness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this seventeenth day of March one thousand seven hundred and forty five 1745 . /

The before written will was proved, and admion (with the said will annexed) of the goods, rights, creditts and chattells of the said deced, remaining unadministor'd by William Rowe the Executor named in the said will was granted the 11th day of December 1747 to Catherine Arthur Widow, Grace (the wife of Thomas Slade) Mary (the wife of Charles Roberts) and Ann Rowe spinstor, the sisters of the said deced (being first sworne before the Reverend Mr William Waddon Clk Ms of Arts Official etc / saveing etc /
