In The Name Of God Amen

I William Bone of the Parish of Lamorran in the County of Cornwall Gentl. being weak in body but of a sound perfect and disposeing mind memory and understanding praised be God and calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make this my last will and testament in manner following . / .

First I bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God my maker and my body to the grave to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named

Also I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Jane Bone all that my dwelling house and premises near Trosillian Bridge within the Parish of Probus for and during the form of her life if the lives thereon shall so long live and after her death I give the said house and premises unto my son James Bone during my term therein.

Also I give and bequeath unto my said wife Jane Bone two beds furnished such as she shall have and also the use of all my estate / except my silver tankard / and also the use of all such china brass pewter table chairs & other my household goods as she shall chuse for her use only during her naturall life and after her death I give the same unto my son Robert Bone forever And I also give unto my said wife the sum of five pounds to be paid to be paid [note - stated twice] her at end of one month after my death.

Also I give and bequeath unto my said son James Bone all those my (messages?) tenements and promisses called or known by the (-?-ll) name of little Treworgey and Tresawle both lying and being within the said Parish of Probus during the term of his natural life but if my son James Bone shall happen to die without issue lawfully begotten before the expiration of my term and estate of and in the said severall promises Then I give the said severall premises unto my eldest son Robert Bone for and during the remainder of my right term and estate therein.

Also I give and bequeath unto my said son James Bone the sum of three hundred pounds to be paid to him at the end of one year next after my death, And I do also give unto my said son James Bone one bed furnished which he shall chuse

And I do hereby nominate and appoint my dear wife Jane Bone and my brother law Robert Bone Guardian for my said son James Bone And I do request and desire my said brother law Robert Bone to take upon him that trust and I do impower him to receive all rents and sums of money to pay all debts to take and give receipts and to do (-?-y) other act for the benefitt of my said son James Bone he being allowed reasonable charges for his trouble and expenses about the same and not to be accountable for any accidentall losses to be sustained . / .

Also I give unto the poor of the parish of Lamoran not having pay twenty shillings.

All the rest of my (messuages?) lands tenements and premises ready money securitys for money goods chattles rights creditts and effects whatsoever or wheresoever being not herein before given devised or bequeathed I do hereby give devise and bequeath unto my eldest son Robert Bone to hold to him his executors administrators and assignes for and during all my rights and estate therein, And I do hereby make nominate constitute (&?) appoint my said son Robert Bone whole and sole Executor of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament put my hand and seal this seventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy . / .

Mr. James Walker Clk Bachelor of Laws Officiall etc? and admion of the goods etc? of the sd. deced &? of all things howsoever concerning the sd. will was granted to the Extor. therein named / being first sworne etc.? / saving etc.? /
