The Fourteenth day of May 1660 I Alexander Bone of St Stephens In Brannell in the county of Cornewall yeoman being sicke in bodie but of a perfect minde and memory thanks be to my god doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in mannor and forme following First I beseech my redeemer and (sweet?) Saviour Jesus Christ to pardon and remitt all my sinnes and (-?-) (-?-) (-?-) and when this sinfull life of mine shall end and be noe more to receive my soule into his heavenly kingdome and my bodie I committ to the earth and christian buriall I give unto Robert Dunkin clerke twenty shillings I give unto Robert Nute five shillings I give unto my brother Henry Bone ten pounds of lawfull mony I give unto my sister Constance Cocke widow three pounds I give unto Jane the daughter of the said Henry Bone three pounds I give unto Mary his daughter forty shillings I give unto James his sonne twenty shillings I give unto Anne Bone the daughter of Temperance Bone thirty shillings I give unto Alice Martyn six shillings I give unto all my servants under covenant and in my house at the time of my death to each of them five shillings I give unto William Thomas my god sonne thirty shillings I give unto Grace the daughter of John Snell five shillings I give unto all the rest of my god sonnes twelve pence a peece I give unto my (cosen?) John (Co-?-ne) seaven shillings And my will and desire is that all the foresaid legacies be paid by my Executrix here after named within twelve monthes next after my death All the rest of my goods and chattells not hereby given nor bequeathed I give unto Elizabeth Bone my wife and doe hereby make ordayne and appointe the said Elizabeth to be my whole and sole Executrix of this my last will and testament and I doe hereby disav null revoke and make voide all former wills and testament and in testomony of the truthe hereof I the fore named Allexander Bone have hereunto putt my hand and seele the day and yeare first above written; Alexander Bone wittness as hereunto John Corne(-?) the signe of John + + + Jenkin Robert Nute |
