MASON, Hulbert L., died at home on 4th. St. this A.M., 72y, children: W.A., Louis, Martha all of Ashland and Mrs. Ada Lash of Lowell MI, brother Jacob of Wayne NE and sisters Mrs. Mary Wiley and Mrs. Catherine Johnson of Ashland, wife died 5 years ago, buried Ashland Cemetery.

HOMMEL, Mrs. Cora, w/o George, born Ashland 28 Mar 1872, died recently in home in Kenton, 45y, 4 children.

GIAR, Levi Wesley, born 23 Sept 1854 Spencer, Medina Co., died at home in Sullivan 31 Jan, 63y4m8d, next to youngest of 5 children of Joseph and Almira Turner Giar, father to Medina Co. from PA, mother to Medina Co. from VT, married 1 July 1875 Mary E. McCollister, children: Earl A., Alta E. and Carl A. who died in infancy, lived 41 years within 1/2 mile of where born, then to Sullivan in 1896, children: Earl A. of Wellington and Alta G. Hendle of Sullivan, 2 granddaughters, 2 sisters and 2 brothers, (see previous article).

FERGUSON, William, 86y, died Friday at home of daughter Mrs. John Faulkner of E of Shenandoah, of Shelby area, several sons and daughters survive, buried Plymouth, (see previous article).

SPENCER, Sevilla, died Sunday at home of daughter Mrs. Derward A. Query of 821 Union St., had lived with son David H. of 401 E. Walnut St., born PA 27 Oct 1840, lived Hayesville for 32 years, lived Ashland 7 years, husband died 35 years ago, children: Mrs. Samuel Kunet of Leipsie OH, Mrs. Morris Fox of Lakefork, Mrs. D.A. Query and D.H. of Ashland, brother Morris Risser of Ashland, sister Mrs. Etta Davidson of Litchfield OH, buried Hayesville Cemetery.

HELBERT, Mrs. Henry, 80y, died at home of son J.A. of Loudonville Sunday, 6 children: Mrs. F.J. Budd of S. Claremont Ave., G.W. of N of Ashland and J.A. (others not named), 2 sisters and 7 brothers, buried Loudonville Cemetery.

STONE, Daniel, born 8 July 1823 Lancaster Co. PA, wife Frances Rudy died 14 June 1894, died 11 Feb, 93y6m3d, 9 children, 4 died previously: Mary, David, Henry and Abraham, surviving, 3 sons and 2 daughters: Mrs. Elizabeth Shoemaker of Wellsville KS, Isaac E., Lydia R., William F., Leslie G. of Ashland Co., 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, funeral at Dickey Church.

FUNK, Private Floyd, 19y, with Co. H. 8th OH Infantry, died at camp near Mexican border, buried Perrysville.

FINICAL, Frank Henry, 61y, relatives in Ashland area, found dead in bed at home in Mansfield Friday, wife, 1 daughter, 3 sisters, 1 brother and 2 half-sisters.

SMITH, Mrs. James, died Saturday at home in Nova, funeral following Tuesday.

FIDLER, Mrs. Lorena, 45y, died at home 3 miles NE of Shiloh Thursday, sisters: Mrs. Roy Squire of Ashland and 5 others, daughters Lavida and Esther, sons Roy and Allen, d/o Henry Tongue of Shiloh.

MARVIN, Elizabeth L., w/o Captain Tip S. who died 3 years ago last Dec, daughter Mrs. John W. Mykrantz of Ashland, died at home in Shelby Sunday, d/o William and Elizabeth Leitner, born near Blatchleyville 14 Sept 1838, 8y old with parents to Shelby, married 7 Dec 1865, other children: Mrs. H.K. Houp of Shelby and William S. of Shelby, 16 grandchildren, sister Mrs. Samuel A. Murphy of Van Wert.

FELLOWS, Mrs. H.M., died at home of grandson A.F. Young of S. Center St. Friday, four score and 10 years old, born Binghamton NY, most of life in IA, lived Ashland last 6 years, daughter Mrs. E.K. Young aged 70y, buried IA.

HARD, Col. C.V., died at home in Wooster, funeral Friday, 3 children, born 3 Aug 1845 in Wooster, CW Vet 135th Reg OVI, Colonel in Spanish American War 8th Reg.

RITES, Lydia A. Hess, w/o C.J., died at home in Polk Thursday, 66y9m29d, 1 daughter and 1 son James of Polk, buried Maple Grove Cemetery.

SHRINER, George, died at home in Polk Wednesday, 59y, buried Nankin Cemetery.

FICKES, Mrs. J.W., died at home S of Shenandoah Thursday, 69y, buried Shenandoah Cemetery.

SHRIVER, Donald, s/o Charles of Ashland, died at home of grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Eben Shriver of Greenwich last Thursday, 8y last Aug, buried Adario by mother.

FLUKE, Wilson Shaw, died at home N of Nankin Thursday, 77y5m19d, buried Nankin Cemetery.

SMITH, Mrs. Frances N. (Headlines says Stone), died Tuesday at home of son S.K. Frary of S of Nova, buried Ashland Cemetery, a sister died Nov 1915.

NEWELL, Infant, d/o Winter of Miller St., died Wednesday, 2w old.

SNYDER, Samuel, 70y, died at home in New London, buried Nova Cemetery, wife died 5 years ago, 1 son survives.
