DeVOE, Infant, d/o Dr. and Mrs. C.G. of Dorchester St., died Monday, 3d, buried Ashland Cemetery.

WEAVER, Elizabeth Ann Otto, born 27 Feb 1835, died 20 Oct, 81y7m23d, married William E. Weaver 24 Oct 1858, 9 children, 3 died previously, children: Mrs. Celia Mutersbaugh of Wooster, John Weaver and Sarah Burkholder of West Salem, William of McComb OH, Mrs. Laura St. Clair of Toledo, Emma Berger of Miami NM, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, buried Hazard Cemetery near West Salem, (ELSEWHERE) died Friday at home of daughter Mrs. Burkholder, 83y, lived near Corry school in Perry Twp. when her husband died many years ago.

SAMPSELL, Dr. Joel V., died at home in Elyria Thursday, sister Mrs. F.C. Semple of Claremont Ave., born 19 May 1857 in Ashland s/o Dr. J.B.F. deceased, to Elyria 40 years ago, wife Mary Grosscup survives, buried Ashland Cemetery.

RAIL, Benjamin, CW vet Co E 107th PA, died Friday at home of brother-in-law Samuel Hart of 33 E. 3rd. St., born 14 June 76 years ago last in Lancaster Co. PA, in county 48 years, buried Ashland Cemetery.

LEAMAN, Sophia, w/o Jacob, died at home on Cottage St. Thursday, 76y7m9d, buried Mohican Cemetery, (ELSEWHERE) born 15 Mar 1840, died 24 Oct, nee Wohlgamuth, died at home of daughter Mrs. Fred Morr, son Tella J. of Wellington, 1 daughter died previously, brother Abe Wohlgamuth of Wayne Co., sister Mrs. John Worst of Fargo ND.

WELSH, Gilbert Edward, s/o Perry R., died Wednesday at home 2 1/2 miles N of Polk, 2y13d, brother Robert, buried Polk Cemetery.

OH 4 Dec 1826, married 13 Apr 1848 Simon Shrig who died 1849, 1 son, married Thomas Barton 19 Oct 1854 who died 13 Oct 1886, 5 children: Emmet died 7 Aug 1867, Laura died 19 Aug 1877, Brady Shrig of Wooster, W.C. of Cleveland, Mrs. D.C. Hershler of near Ashland, Mrs. J.W. Brindle of old Barton homestead, 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, buried Ashland Cemetery, (see previous article).

KAGEY, Martin Herbert, died at home 227 Broad St. Wednesday, born in Ashland, 43y on 14 Aug last, s/o Martin V. and Catherine, father died when M.H. 9y, mother of E. Walnut St., wife Grace Barton, son Barton C., sister Mrs. Harry E. Snyder, buried Ashland Cemetery.

HOSTETTLER, Sullivan, killed by lightning at his home 2 miles E of Lakeville Wednesday, 42y, wife, 7 children.

CUMMINS, Mrs. A.B., brother Frank Moneysmith of W. Main St., died at home in Mt. Gilead Wednesday, 68y6m4d, daughter Mrs. John Sampson, granddaughter, sister Mrs. Delia Ridgley of Washington D.C., buried Mt. Gilead Cemetery.

GLESSNER, Delbert, died Soldier"s Home in Dayton, 45y, word received Thursday, unmarried, siblings: Eugene, Mrs. Frank D. Johnson, Phillip, Paul of Cleveland, Mrs. Vanslyke and Mrs. Hummell of New York City, buried there.

BROWN, Earl, 22y, died Friday at home of parents Mr. and Mrs. O.J. of Ashland, buried Savannah.

LeFEVRE, Henry, died at home near Shreve 31 Oct, 78y4m15d, children Anna and William.

WEAVER, Joseph, died while walking along Olivesburg Rd., sister Mrs. J.W. Garbeth of Mansfield, buried McKay Cemetery, 6"3", 185 lbs, 65y, unmarried.
