ESHELMAN, Lydia, died at home of daughter Mrs. Watson Atterholf of near Mohican, 85y6m, other daughters Mrs. Charles Bowers, sister Susan Humm of Loudonville, 99y, buried in Synagogue Cemetery.

McKINZIE, Emanuel, 60y, died Thursday at home of step-son in Elyria, buried Nankin Cemetery, daughter Mrs. Alf McDanels.

SMITH, Robert M., died at his home 4 miles S of Ashland Sunday, 72y4ml6d, married twice, son Judson of home, daughter by 1st marriage in Dakota, daughter by 2nd marriage Mrs. Nellie Roberts of E of Ashland, brothers James of Washington St. and David in KS, several sisters, buried Ashland Cemetery.

TALLENTIRE, Maggie Fedrick, w/o Howard of 4 miles S of Ashland on Hayesville Rd., died Friday, abt 60y, son Homer of New York City, Bruce of Uniontown PA, daughters Mrs. Walter Dillinger of Point Marion PA and Alice of home, 2 grandchildren lived with grandmother.

BENTZ, William M., died Tuesday at home at corner of E. 3rd and Union Sts., born on old Bentz homestead N of Ashland just N of Leidigh"s Mill and 1 mile E of Troy Rd., 78y on 13 Dec next, 45 years ago to Ashland, children: Addison, S.O., Mrs. Harry Kauffman all of Ashland, Mrs. Meda Baxter and Eliza both of Parkersburg WV, siblings: Sarah, Elizabeth, and Michael of old homestead, Adam and Mrs. Polly Aller of near S. Whitley IN, 10 grandchildren, buried Ashland Cemetery.

HENRY, Norman P., 64y, died at home in Mansfield.

BEER, William C., died Monday at summer home on Siasconset Island of Nantucket, born in Bucyrus OH, 4th child of Judge Thomas Beer deceased, mother lives in Bucyrus OH, 2 sons and 1 daughter, siblings: Katherine and Dorcas of Bucyrus, Mrs. Isaac Lothian of Los Angeles CA, Dr. James D. of Wooster and Thomas of Bucyrus.

DAVIDSON, William, born 16 Apr 1833 Aberdeenshire Scotland, died 10 Oct, 83y5m24d, with parents to US at 18y, married Catherine Swineford 1 Jan 1870, children: Mrs. Minnie Reed, John, Mrs. Carrie Douglas and Mrs. Mae Carr, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, buried Nova Cemetery Vault.

CHAPMAN, Richard M., died at home on Eastern Ave. Thursday, 78y on 4 June 1916, wife and children: George W. of near Jeromesville, Mrs. Flora Ehoke of Chicago IL and Att. Charles C. of Ashland survive, sisters Mrs. Nancy Shadluck of Beatrice NE, born in Lake Twp, lived in IA 3 years, married Rhoda A. Webster, buried Ashland Cemetery.

SPIRY, Fred, died at home on Olivesburg Rd. Saturday, 65y9m26d, from Lewisville, Monroe Co. OH in Oct 1904 to his late home, daughters Mrs. George Seebaugh of Cleveland, Mrs. Harry Zeibich, Ida of home and Bertha of Ashland, sons John and George of home & Charles of Barberton, daughter Lizzie died Oct 1909, (see previous article).

STRAITS, Hilda Weigand, w/o John P., died at home in Millersburg forepart of week, 46y3m 22d, d/o Joseph Weigand of Ashland, married 6 Nov 1894, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, 3 children: 2 survive, (Later in obit says) d/o William Weigand of Millersburg.

HOLMES, Clara, w/o Frank of Cleveland Ave., died Samaritan Hospital Thursday, 72y6m23d, daughters Mrs. J.E. Matthews of 507 Cleveland Ave. and Mrs. Frank Clippinger of Cleveland, son C.M. of Ashland, brother Edward of Kent, sisters Mrs. Aaron Gault of W of Ashland on Olivesburg Rd. and Mrs. Ida Funalman of Akron, born Wayne Co. 19 Mar 1844, buried Ashland Cemetery.

McMURRAY, William H., died Thursday at Grand Army Clubroom in rear of Opera House, 78y3d, lived on Walnut St., born 9 Oct 1838, CW vet, married Mary Odell 3 Nov 1861, 9 children, 4 survive: Mahlon, Mrs. Ella Hockensmith, Mrs. Elizabeth Overly and Mrs. Jennie Cleckner, 1st wife died 12 years ago last March, 3 children died in infancy, son William E. died 17 Feb 1907, 12 grandchildren, 2nd wife Mrs. Clorinda Hamilton married 11 Dec 1906, buried Ashland Cemetery.

STAIR, Russell, 8y,adopted s/o George, died at home near McZena Thursday.

SCHNEIDER, George, died at home 305 E. 3rd St Thursday, 73y9m11d, born 31 Dec 1842 Knox Twp., Holmes Co. OH, to Ashland 1871 with brother Henry who had lived in Loudonville, married 1873 Louisa Kuntney in Ashland, daughter Lena, brothers Louis, Henry and Daniel all of Loudonville, Martin of Warren OH, sister Mrs. Jacob Webber of Hillcord OH, buried Ashland Cemetery.

FRAZEE, Mrs. Nevada, died Ada OH, funeral Thursday at home of E.S. Briggs on Cleveland Ave. in Ashland.
