Walnut Thursday, 15th of next month would have been 85y, survived by wife, children: Mrs. Manda Wiltrout and Mrs. David Eichelberger of E of Ashland, Mrs. Fred Smith and Marion of Ashland, Richard of Cleveland, 1 child died young, siblings: Daniel of Los Angeles CA, John of Toledo IA, Joseph of KS and a sister in Toledo IA, born Milheim, Center Co PA 1829, in Ashland Co OH since 1878, buried Ashland Cemetery.

MORR, Samuel D., born Milhime, Center Co PA 15 Feb 1829, died 1 Jan at E. Walnut St home 85y10m15d, oldest of 13, fall 1833 with parents and several other families to OH, 6 miles E of Ashland on farm where Evan. Trinity Church now stands, 6 Feb 1851 married Mary Myers, 2 sons and 3 daughters, 28 years on farm, then with family to Ashland, wife died 11 Feb 1890, 16 Aug 1896 married Clara B. Myer, survived by wife, 5 children, 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister, (see preceding article).

RICKEL, Louisa M., nee Shutt, born near Red Haw 1 Jan 1852, died 18 Dec 1913, 61y11m17d, married Edward Rickel 14 Mar 1878, 2 sons and 4 daughters, died previously son George Forest and grand-daughter Ester Maude Dunner, survived by husband, 4 daughters and 1 son: Mrs. E. Wengard of Flat Rock, Mrs. Edwin M. Dunner and Mrs. William Gardner of Rowsburg, Mrs. Glen Swartz of near Red Haw and Guy of West Salem, 4 grandchildren, 4 brothers and 3 sisters, buried Red Haw.

ARMSTRONG, Jared Irvin, born Hayesville 13 Mar 1847, died at home in Ashland 22 Dec 1913, 5th s/o Dr. Harrison Armstrong and Margaret Cox d/o Rev. John, CW McLaughlin's Squadron 5th OH Cav, married Mary Ewing d/o William of Hayesville, 4 sons and 7 daughters: Arthur H. of old homestead, Ralph died in CT river, William E. of Dayton, Donald, Blanch, Anna, Jane, Elizabeth and Margaret of Ashland, Mrs. Edna Porter of Lawton OK, Mrs. Elsie Paxton of Hayesville, buried Vermillion Cemetery.

McMAHON, Mrs. Mary Coyle, mother of Mrs. John Patterson of Ashland, died at home of son John McMahon of Columbus last week, born 1833 Bellenscarry Co., W. Meade, Ireland, to Upper Sandusky 1860, 1901 to Columbus, husband died 34 years ago, other children: Simon of Ashland, Mrs. Fred Dannenhauer, Maggie, Hugh and Mrs. William Kyler, buried Upper Sandusky.

OWENS, Elizabeth, w/o Harrison H. of Polk who was in CW Co G 23rd OH, she died Thursday at home, 64y, 3 daughters and 1 son: Charles H. and Mrs. Reuben Kopp of Ashland, several grandchildren, buried Polk Cemetery.

MARVIN, Tip S., father of Mrs. Jno. W. Mykrantz of Ashland, of Shelby, died Marion OH Wednesday, 7 Dec 1865 married Elizabeth Leitner, children: Silas, William of Shelby, Ruth L. w/o H.K. Houpt, Elizabeth Judith w/o J.W. Mykrantz of Ashland, born 28 July 1839 Richland Co., CW Co D 15th OH Inf.

THOMSON, Mrs. Jane, of Greenwich, died.

PHELPS, Mrs. Milton, of Wellington, funeral last Friday, (Nova News).

FULTON, Benjamin, formerly of Nova, died at Caledonia MI 28 Dec 1913, 95y10m10d.

N of Ashland Saturday, 81y, buried Sullivan Cemetery; Welch family to America in 1600, 1st in SC, later to PA; s/o Ephraim to Ashland Co 1826, born 13 Dec 1833 Orange Twp., CW Co F 120th OVI, married 1867 Drusilla Prink of Sullivan who died when son was an infant, son Gilbert Perry, married 1878 Mary McDonald who died 5 June 1889, daughter Grace w/o Holiday Ames of Columbus, 1899 married Adele Swartz, daughter Dorothy, 5 grandchildren, sister Mrs. Catherine Bailey.

CHAMBERLAIN, _____, of near Olivesburg, died Saturday at home of daughter Mrs. A.P. Samsel of Mansfield, 53y, wife and 4 daughters: Mrs. Samsel, Mrs. C.R. Barnes of Adario, Mrs. C.P. Shriver and Mrs. H.C. Ward of Lakewood, son C.R. of Ashland.

SCHAFER, William H., 73y, CW Vet, formerly of Loudonville, died at home in Massillon Thursday.

WEAN, Mrs. Solomon, son Rev. John I., died at home in Columbus, buried in Columbus.

MILLER, Harriet, died at home of son Milt M. of Troy Rd. Tuesday, over 90y, born PA, to Ashland when a child, w/o J.A.J.F. Miller who died 20 years ago, 3 sons V.G. of Cottage St., Elmer of the west and Milt M., 1 son and 1 daughter died previously, sister in MI and a brother in CO, buried Ashland Cemetery.

RICHEY, Elizabeth, w/o F.T. deceased, died at home near McZena Wednesday, 80y, 4 daughters and 1 son, 1 daughter Mrs. John Smith of S of Ashland.

CHUBB, James, abt 70y, died at home in Perrysville Saturday, wife and 9 children: Mrs. George Barrick of Polk, Mrs. Charles Wander of Loudonville, Charles, Clarence, Lymand and Blake of Galion, Adolph of Cincinnati, Leroy of Alliance and Lewis of Loudonville.

McWILLIAMS, Harrison A., 69y, wife Jennie Heifner of Ashland, died in Mansfield Tuesday, born Hayesville, after marriage to Ashland, 7 years ago to Mansfield.
