PIPER, Mrs. Elizabeth, son O.W. of Nova area, died this week at home of daughter Mrs. Eugene Lantz of Lawrenceburg TN.

PATTERSON, Cloyd K., died Monday at Lemesa CA near San Diego in car accident, s/o William of Mansfield.

KAUTZER, Miss Salome, died Friday at Los Angeles CA, 60y, born McZena, sister Mrs. G.A. Karper of Ashland, brother G.F. of Ashland, sisters: Mrs. J.B. Kopp of Lakeville, Mrs. George Kopp of Canton, Mrs. Matilda Hannan of Minerva and Mrs. M.A. Munson of Crestline, funeral at Loudonville.

KEETLE, Charles Clifford, 22y, s/o W.M. of E 4th St., drowned in Jeromefork creek abt 2 mi E of Jeromesville, born 27 Apr 1891 on old Keetle homestead W of Ashland, brothers Guy and Benjamin of Ashland, sisters Mrs. Melvin Jacobs of Clearcreek Twp., Mrs. Amos Fellenbaum of near Savannah, Mrs. George Lucas and Bertha Keetle of E 4th St. Ashland.

CRAMER, Mrs. Mary, to Ashland from Akron a few weeks ago, son Ezra of E of Rowsburg on old Osborn farm, aged, buried Rowsburg Cemetery.

PIPER, Elizabeth, born Hettstedt, Armstadt Germany 28 Dec l841, died at home of daughter Mrs. Eugene Lantz of Lawrenceburg TN, died 13 Mar, 71y2m16d, with parents to Chester Twp., Wayne Co. OH when 7 years old, married John Piper 1 Oct l865, 6 children, 1 child and husband died previously, survived by 2 sons and 3 daughters, 11 grandchildren, buried in 8 Square Cemetery, funeral at home of daughter Mrs. E.S. Finley, (Nova News), (see previous article).

SHEETS, A.M., died Tuesday at home on N. Cottage St., 69y6m29d, CW Co B 102nd OVI, born E of Ashland 19 Aug l843, married twice, 5 brothers and 1 sister: Joseph of E of town, Almond of Ashland, Eli of NW of West Salem, Charles of Van Wert, John of Claypool IN and Mrs. Orlando Mockerman of E of Ashland, daughter Mrs. Vernon Redding died previously at Mansfield, buried Ashland Cemetery, (see previous article).

JOHNSON, Isabella Margaret, died Tuesday at Sandusky St home, 24y7m8d, d/o Wilbur E., granddaughter of Mrs. Isabella Loucks and Daniel Johnson, born 10 Aug l888, sister Portia died 14 May 1912 at age 17y, only children of Wilbur, buried Ashland Cemetery.

ANDERSON, Mrs. Anna L., died in Cleveland, formerly of Ashland, d/o Judge John H. HcCombs, buried "local cemetery", body arrives in Ashland on Monday.

MOTTER, Peter W., born McZena 27 Jan l844, died at Ashland home 28 Feb, 69y1m1d, parents to Clinton Twp., Wayne Co. in 1858, married 9 Feb l871 at Marshallville to Rosa Totheroh, born to them 2 sons and 4 daughters, 1 son and 1 daughter died previously, survived by wife, son John, daughters Mrs. Jacob Easterday, Mrs. Peter Dilgard and Flora, 1 brother and 2 sisters, buried Fairview Cemetery.

BARTH, Mathias J., born near Polk 5 June l855, died Ashland 15 Mar, married 3 times, 1st to Catharine Gattschick in l882, she died in l883, twin children both died in infancy, 2nd to Ellen Warrendsford in l885, she died 1905, 1 daughter, 3rd to Mrs. Anna Kelley in 1908, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 daughter, 3 stepdaughters and 2 grandsons survive.

STEVENS, Mary Anna, died Friday, lived in Ashland over 50 years, nee Baker, born Castini ME 16 July l828, girlhood days with parents on farm near Norridgewock, married Jonas Stevens when she was 20, he died 24 July last, lived in Lawrence MA for awhile, then to Akron, then to Ashland, children: Mary I. deceased, Edwin F., Nellie L., and Grace E. w/o C.A. Levering.

McFADDEN, Nancy A., died Thursday at home abt 2 miles NE of Polk Thursday, 75y2m26d, husband died previously, daughter Mrs. Mary C. Billman of Belleville MI, sons J.C. and R.J. of Jackson Twp., buried in nearby cemetery, funeral at Disciple Church in Polk.

SLOCUM, Anna, died Akron, sister A.E. of Maple St. Ashland.

POWELL, William, abt 75y, died in Shadeland PA.

HILTON, W.A., died at home in Perrysville 28 Mar, 50y, wife and 1 brother survive, buried Perrysville.

BUTLER, Leo, of Mansfield, brother of Mrs. M. C. Lencer of Ashland, he died Saturday.

BEACHLER, Mrs., of Perrysville, died at home last week.

WILSON, Mrs. Belle, died at home of Otto Eichelberger of S of Widowville, body taken to Hayesville Wednesday.

BOWER, John, 4 score years and five, died at home of daughter Mrs. Charles Shoup of Jeromesville Monday, 11 children: 8 survive, 3 died in infancy, wife died abt 9 years ago.
